LS Quarry is a privately owned and operated quarry business supplying high-quality crushed rock products from its Lima South and Yarck quarry sites. Backed by a flexible and experienced team, the company is committed to delivering “Superior Stone” with “Superior Service.”
LS Quarry’s focus is simple: delivering the right product, to the right place, at the right time. To achieve this, the company maintains year-round production and stock availability across a broad range of quarry products. All materials are tested through its own NATA-accredited laboratory to ensure consistent quality and compliance.
With a customer-focused approach, LS Quarry operates a fleet of company-owned truck and trailers, supported by trusted subcontractor transport partners, enabling reliable deliveries throughout the year.

LS Quarry is a privately owned and operated business employing a flexible team of people to produce and deliver high quality crushed rock. For over 20 years we have been operating at Lima South and providing customers with superior stone with superior service with our aim to deliver what you want, where you want it and when you want it.
To do this, we produce and stock a wide range of high quality quarry products all year round that have been tested in our own NATA accredited laboratory and delivered by customer focused drivers in our fleet of company owned truck and trailers.

OUR QUARRY'S
The Hornsfel blue metal aggregates from our Lima South quarry are highly sought after particularly for rail ballast, concrete aggregates, asphalt and spray sealing applications.
They have superior properties such as: A PSV of 60-62 for higher skid resistance, LA ranging from 8-10 durability, and at only 1% absorbent it means they soak up less bitumen, binders and cement than basalt or other aggregates. LS Quarry supplies both asphalt aggregates and spray sealing aggregates throughout North East Victoria.
Our customers include State and Local Government for road construction and maintenance as well as private construction companies building roads on their behalf.
The blue grey crushed rocks and aggregates from our Yarck quarry are highly rated by the local community as being a good locally available road base for driveways and farm tracks and is also aesthetically pleasing for constructing the main drive up to many local farm houses.
In addition, local Councils use it to re-sheet roads as part of the ongoing road maintenance program.
Howlong Sand and Gravel Quarry produces a range of alluvial quartz aggregates and coarse sand.
Quartz aggregates once screened and washed are widely used in concrete products and plumbing aggregates throughout the Riverina district.
Sand is washed and screened, again widely used in concrete products. The sand is of an extremely good quality, low in silts producing concretes capable of obtaining fire ratings.
Sand and gravel products can be further blended to produce differing grades of filter media for the water industry.
The quarry produces road base materials that are used in the area for farm roads and driveways.
