HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

LS Quarry is committed to protecting the health, safety, and welfare of all employees, contractors, and visitors, with workplace safety treated as equally important to all other operational considerations.

The company works collaboratively to maintain safe working environments across all sites while complying with the ISO 45001:2018 safety management standard. LS Quarry also ensures compliance with all relevant health, safety, and welfare legal requirements, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act, associated Regulations, Codes of Practice, and recognised industry best practice as a minimum standard.

A key objective is the ongoing reduction of workplace incidents and occupational illness, supported by the provision of safe systems of work across all operations. To achieve this, LS Quarry applies the following guiding principles:

• Operate in compliance with applicable health and safety laws
• Conduct routine audits to assess organisational performance against expectations
• Ensure employees, contractors, and visitors are properly trained, supervised, and protected to perform work safely and without risk to health
• Apply a continuous improvement approach to identify and mitigate operational risks across all sites

LS Quarry is committed to sustainable development by seeking to balance economic development with the protection and maintenance of the environment and has ISO140010:2015 Environmental accrediation.

To support this commitment, the company works with employees and contractors to comply with all relevant environmental laws and integrate environmental considerations into its operations. This includes embedding environmental factors into planning and decision-making processes, as well as assessing the environmental impacts of its activities on a regular basis.

Through this approach, LS Quarry aims to ensure responsible resource extraction and ongoing environmental stewardship across all sites.
